November 9, 2009  The U.S. Consulate Cultural Affairs Section brought the story of photographer, Maki Kawakita, to Cukurova University. In an inspiring presentation, aspiring student artists listened to Maki’s story that eventually brought her success as an immigrant to America.

March 6 and 8, 2009 - To honor International Women’s Day, Principal Officer Eric Green attended the opening of an art exhibit sponsored by the Adana Women’s Council. The exhibit featured the work of 55 artists from the region.
