In case of an emergency involving an American citizen, please call the duty officer at (322) 346-6262 in country and +90 (322) 346-6262 from the U.S.A. for 24-hour (during work hours and after work hours)assistance. Please kindly note that these numbers are NOT for visa inquiries.

For non-emergency services:
  
The American Citizen Services Unit’s hours of operation are from Monday – Friday from 8:00–12:00 and 1:00-5:00.  The ACS unit is open for affidavits and notarials on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:00-12:00 and 1:00–4:00, and applicants need to make an appointment with the Consular section before they arrive. The ACS unit is closed on all American and Turkish holidays.
