Eric Green arrived to serve as Principal Officer at the U.S. Consulate in Adana in July, 2006.  A Foreign Service Officer since 1990, his previous overseas assignments include Moscow, Manila, Kiev and Belfast.  In Washington he has served in the Bureau of European Affairs, the office of Caspian Basin Energy Diplomacy and in the Secretary of State’s Policy Planning Office.  Mr. Green has a Bachelor’s Degree from Grinnell College and a Master’s from Yale University.  He is married with one child.
